Siemens introduce SISTORE resources kits

Siemens Building Technologies has developed two new Resources Kits for its customers, based on SISTORE MX hybrid recording system and its SISTORE CX intelligent video codec.  The kits have been designed to provide a user-friendly way of understanding the technologies, with simple, menu driven CDs providing the latest information, images and graphics.

SISTORE MX is a hybrid surveillance and image recording system designed to provide a smooth transition from analogue to digital.  The new CD based kit provides all the information necessary to understand SISTORE MX, from full colour product profiles and brochures to an easy to use DVR storage estimator which matches the required storage capacity available from the seven models within the range to any given application.  The CD offers English and German versions of all the material, including a full Power Point based presentation which includes the benefits of SISTORE MX, the different connections available on the reverse of the units, the various peripherals to which it can connect and screen grabs from the Windows based operating environment.  It also provides copies of the all-important certificates to which SISTORE MX is approved: Kalagate and UW-Kassen.

SISTORE CX is an intelligent digital video Codec for MPEG4 IP video transmission, recording and analysis, with the EDS version offering outdoor video motion detection system with object tracking.  The Resources Kit features a CD containing a wide range of data on the respective systems, plus a DVD based video demonstrating the SISTORE CX EDS system operating in a number of applications, including a test conducted at a prison in Germany.  The Data CD, like its SISTORE MX counterpart, provides a wealth of information including product brochures, presentations, photographs and graphics and videos and is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.
