Teleste MPX-D8 video decoder has eight video outputs, 3-port terminal server, two bi-directional audio and 2 Fast Ethernet interfaces. The unit can optionally be harnessed with 8 bidirectional contact closure channels for alarm and event handling. MPX-D8 supports decoding of standard video streams, MPEG-4, MJPEG and MPEG-2. The three built-in EIA RS data channels provide multi-vendor PTZ camera control through Ethernet network either from keyboard controller or from video management software. Beside the standard Ethernet copper interface the support for SFP plugin optics makes MPX-D8 suitable for deployment in a wide range of optical networks.
