Sony's SNT-V704 is a compact, high-performance Video Network Server that enables up to four analogue video cameras to be remotely monitored and controlled over an IP network and provides greater expandability of your IP-based monitoring systems.

JPEG and MPEG-4 video compression at high-refresh rates (30 fps NTSC / 25 fps PAL) allows users to monitor smooth images of all four cameras using a standard web browser.  The conveniently located USB port allows for the addition of local storage of alarm based video capture.   FTP image transfer and Network Security functions allow for further scalability and effective monitoring.  

Converting existing analogue cameras to an IP-based monitoring system couldn't be easier.

The SNT-V704 is equipped with a built-in, activity detection function that can be set to generate an alarm output through its alarm-output ports.  2 detection areas can be set per channel.  The built-in web server supports up to 50 users.
