MESSOA's SCR506 close-range plate-capture camera features colour-overview functionality that monitors surrounding areas, gathering information on vehicle type, colour, and shape. Optimised to produce ultra clear images, the camera has been designed to read diverse vehicle license plates, including non-reflective plates, square plates, borderless plates, and red numerals and characters, day or night in the most demanding conditions.

MESSOA's CatchAll^™ technology enables the SCR506 to provide a high degree of colour accuracy, and its intelligent traffic-on function resolves many speed and lighting issues. Enhanced by MESSOA's Lumii^™ Technology, the camera lights objects evenly, delivering exceptional image quality in even low-light or no-light conditions. Compatible with automatic license-plate-recognition software, the SCR506 is intended for license-plate-recognition applications targeting non-reflective plates. It also incorporates ICR day/night switching, ensuring that objects are adequately lighted and reducing image noise. This guarantees clear, bright images for identification and sharply reduces back-end costs. The SCR506 IR LED's exceptional single-control lighting technology minimises power consumption, and extends LED life by up to 30-40%. The SCR506's sharp, clear license-plate captures of vehicles moving up to 30km/h (19 mph) make it perfect for a variety of applications, including ANPR, bus lanes, black & white lists, hazardous-load monitoring, access control, parking, time-limited parking, and make & model surveillance.
