EverFocus new 16, 9 & 6 channel Digital Video Recorders
Product Profile

The new EDSR-1600 (16-channel), EDSR-900 (9-channel) and EDSR-600 (6-channel) digital video recorders offer all digital video recording benefits and are easy to install and operate like a custom VCR. Moreover, the 16 & 9 channel devices are the first Digital Video Recorders with an integrated 16x4 basic matrix function. Existing multiplexers can be connected via a switch output. Alarms are managed via external alarm inputs and outputs.
The advantages of digital recording are obvious. The constant superior quality up to DVD resolution allows a detailed recognition during image evaluation. The recorded images are archived on exchangeable hard disks; alternatively, single images and image sequences can be stored on a CompactFlash card and can be evaluated via free downloadable players (e.g. QuickTime) on a standard PC. For flexible and individual data evaluation of harddisks out of EDSR series' digital video recorders via local PC, the Harddisk Reader EPR 100 has been developed. It is connected to the PC via the USB port; the included driver software allows easy installation. Data evaluation of single images, video streams and multiscreen sequences is possible through search critera such as time/date, harddisk segment and event. For further evaluation, all data can be archived and managed locally.
EDSR-1600, EDSR-900 and EDSR-600 are operated as easily as an analog time lapse VCR. The Jog & Shuttle function allows up to 600-x forward and reverse playback without any image interferences, as well as single image playback. Optionally, both DVRs can be operated via the RS-232 interface or an infrared remote control.
