New IP-based and vandal resistant eneo dome

New in the eneo GL Series is the vandal resistant 1/3" Fix Dome GLD 1501/IR for interior network installations. Thanks to its analogue video input it can also easily be installed in an analogue video surveillance system - an advantage when the changeover to an IP-based system still has to happen.

In addition to a resolution of 704 x 576 pixels, the GLD-1501/IR offers a choice of M-JPEG and MPEG-4 video compression and a maximum transmission rate of 25 fps. Its integrated IR illumination with a range of approximately 15m along with the switchable IR cut filter also make the dome the outstanding choice for 24-hour surveillance. The integral vari lens with a focal lens of 3.3-12mm combined with 3-axis adjustment ensures simple installation and also precision lens alignment over the area under surveillance.

The USB port is extremely practical: use it to connect the dome to a PC and set the IP address without any wasted time, make further configuration settings or update firmware. The dome also has a slot for SD cards which makes local recordings possible for several days and without additional equipment. Thanks to Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) no further cables are required for the power supply at installation. The shipping package of all GL Series products contains the GL-Manager management software for management, control and recording for up to 16 video sources.
