Dallmeier electronic DVS 600: Intelligent video motion detector with high performance picture store

The DVS 600 combines digital high resolution recording and intelligent detection technology in one device.  Specially developed for surveillance solutions in sensitive outdoor and indoor situations, the DVS 600 is easy and convenient to set up and operate and is fully compatible with all Dallmeier hard- and software products.  Potential outdoor applications include the monitoring of buildings, car park occupancy, industrial processes, traffic flows, etc.

The DVS 600 supports comprehensive 24-hour building surveillance, organised to suit your needs and without deploying staff on site.  With direct switching to an alarm centre, alarms can be immediately verified from the pictures and response measures initiated.  

The object classification enables a precise detection of pre-defined objects which can considerably reduce the number of false alarms.  Special picture processing algorithms differentiate between "real" detection objects (e.g. a human) from "false" detection objects (e.g. an animal) and filter these out before processing further.  With alarm conditions linked together an alarm is only triggered when several alarm conditions coincide (e.g. light beams, motion detectors, etc.).

The DVS 600 can be used in a range of applications, as a stand alone solution in small monitoring systems or as an integrated element in a complex high security installation.
