BCDVideo announces Genetec certification of BCD380V8 video recorder

BCDVideo has announced Genetec’s certification of their BCD380V8 video recorder to archive up to 500Mbps and an additional 200Mbps dedicated for video redirection (700Mbps total throughput). This accounts for 40% greater bandwidth capability over standard video recorders and IT servers being used for video. When deploying a BCDVideo BCD380V8 archiver with Genetec Security Center software, the security integrator can easily handle up to five-hundred 720p video cameras in a single 2U chassis housing 73TB of RAID 5 useable storage.
