Surveon Technology, the complete enterprise NVR solutions provider, announced the Linux-based NVR2104 is added to the existing Window-based storage subsystem NVR2100 Series, providing an ultimate option for the surveillance application. Supporting up to 64 channels of 5MP recording and RAID subsystem with 12-bay or 16-bay hot-swappable HDDs, NVR2104 is an ideal solution to fulfill the need for remote recording as the storage subsystem could be located on a separate site from the server so as to easily receive recordings from multiple servers. This server-storage subsystem structure provides not only the convenience to arrange surveillance system for different sites, but also efficiency to centralise the video management for mission-critical projects like banking, casino or companies with branch offices.
Independent storage subsystem
Built-in with the premium-grade RAID subsystem, Surveon NVR2104 is capable of extend its capacity up to 240 HDDs via local SAS storage and iSCSI storage on the remote site for longer video retention periods. The independent storage subsystem allows recording from multiple NVRs simultaneously, giving security staff a centralised control to manage surveillance videos. The controller-based system with a dedicated RAID controller provides the highest performance and reliability with all data protected and backed up to ensure zero video loss. NVR2104 also comes with the SANwatch storage monitoring suite which helps the user easily manage and monitor the status of the storage, ensuring the high availability of recorded video.
Paired with Surveon’s feature-rich enterprise VMS, including video analytic functions, the solution not only improves safety and security, but provides robust prevention, preparedness, detection, and quick response measures to avoid possible incidents |
Excellent system reliability
Based on the client-server architecture, NVR2104 provides high I/O, large capacity, and the overall system stability needed in scalable applications. Its cable-less design and redundant components such as cooling fans and power supplies also offer excellent system reliability and easy maintenance. Paired with Surveon’s feature-rich enterprise VMS, including video analytic functions, the solution not only improves safety and security, but provides robust prevention, preparedness, detection, and quick response measures to avoid possible incidents. With Surveon Control Center (SCC) centralised management, operations become easier through TV-matrix wall even under scalable system structure with unlimited numbers of cameras or NVRs. Aside from SCC, Surveon’s unique web-based management tool SurveOne also supports online monitoring to facilitate remote management of the overall system.
Highly scalable solution
“Reliable, fast, high-performance, well-protected against any video loss, and highly scalable solutions are what system integrators are looking for in the critical surveillance projects,” said Casper Wu, Product Marketing Manager at Surveon Technology. "NVR2104 provides the flexibility to manage all videos on the central site while the recordings are done remotely, reducing the risk of data loss or damaged unexpectedly.”
Available with 2U 12-bay or 3U 16-bay Surveon enterprise VMS, NVR2104’s initial shipment is scheduled at the end of November.
