Andy Perry, Director of Unipart Security Solutions Ltd., speaks at "Installer Days"
The first of the Unipart Security series of "Installer Days" was held on 28th July at the company's facilities in Oxford.

The theme of the event was ‘Opportunities to increase revenue streams' and included presentations from CCTV distributor Videcon, who co-hosted the event, Connexion2 lone worker protection and Emizon IP, a manufacturer of dual path alarm signalling solutions.

"The objective of our seminar presentations was to highlight that in a tough economic climate there are still opportunities for installers to increase revenue streams, whilst at the same time showing empathy for clients' whose budgets are under pressure," said Andy Perry, Director of Unipart Security Solutions Ltd's electronics division. "All of the presenters were able to identify examples of how installers could help their clients reduce operational costs, as well as take their security to a higher level."

The installers that attended the event were also given a brief guided tour of the recently opened Unipart Security Monitoring and Response Centre. "We are proud of our NSI Gold Category II Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and Remote Video Response Centre (RVRC) accredited facility which is able to provide a wide range of other monitoring services, including asset and vehicle tracking, lone worker protection, manned security management and a 24 hour support desk," said Andy Perry. "We were therefore delighted by the positive feedback from installers who were impressed with the technology deployed, as well as the processes we have put in place, to ensure clients receive ‘best in class' service as well as competitively priced monitoring charges."

Unipart Security will be conducting further Installer Days during 2011. Installers and system integrators who wish to register interest in attending one of the events, can do so by emailing: [email protected].
