The world's security market focuses on Asia's manufacturing power

According to research analyst Frost & Sullivan, the annual security market growth rate in Asia-Pacific countries is 7.5%, reaching over USD 3 billion by 2015.

According to the A&S International magazine, over 85 percent of the world's security products are made in Asia. Ranging from video surveillance, access control to intrusion alarm, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia are the major supplying countries and regions for the global security markets.

Taiwan is well known for IT development and innovation while it provides distinctive network video and is opening up to value-added products such as IP, 3-G, Ethernet transmission devices and RFID.

Also known for strong innovation and quality design is Korea. The Korean market delivers higher resolution, fast processing and better integration products owing to its continuous R&D effort. China is one of Asia's fastest growing security markets with cost-effective security solutions, R&D and high-tech security products.

In addition, Singapore and Malaysia have good reputation for design and IT. With strong government support, the Singaporean and Malaysian manufacturers continue to further develop the access control market.
