Nio Security, Inc., a world leader in smart video solutions for the security market announced a sweeping series of announcements related to worldwide company momentum and strategic planning at the International Security Conference West 2010 Expo in Las Vegas.

First, Nio has a new alliance with Shenzhen Domenor Technology Co. Shenzhen Domenor Technology is one of the world leaders in providing ODM and OEM services specifically targeted to the security market. Through this new partnership, several of Nio's high-quality security cameras and peripherals will be manufactured at Shenzhen Domenor's acclaimed facilities, using quality control standards that meet Nio's rigorous specification requirements.

"We are very pleased to be working with a company of Nio's strong worldwide reputation - Shenzhen Domenor Technology is perhaps the only company that can meet Nio's quality control standards and we are very excited to be partnered with them not just for manufacturing, but as a key China partner for them moving forward," said General Manager George Zhang of Shenzhen Domenor Technology Co., Ltd.

Nio announced that its Satis security solution is on target for a 2nd-half, 2010 launch

In addition, CEO Dr. Espen Brodin has also appointed Tammy Nichols Lloyd as General Manager of Nio's operations in the Americas. A long-standing employee of Nio with exceptional knowledge of the security industry and outstanding organisational insights, Ms. Lloyd's new responsibilities include managing sales, facilities and staff throughout this important geographic region. Ms. Lloyd reports directly to CEO Dr. Espen Brodin and will be an integral part of the North American launch of Nio's upcoming Satis security solution, in tandem with the worldwide executive marketing team.

"Tammy brings unique insight into Nio's North American operations and I am fully confident that she will manage this critical market for us with exceptional results," said Dr. Espen Brodin, CEO of Nio Security, Inc. "She will be evaluating every aspect of our current and future operations with an eye towards bottom-line efficiency, maximising sales opportunities and delivering our customers the best possible service and support."

One of the first actions by Ms. Lloyd has been to consolidate Nio's North American facilities into the central location of Memphis, TN - the current Poway, CA facility will be closed in the interest of efficiency. Further, Tempest Microsystems, Inc. (based in Poway and acquired by Nio in 2007) will be shut down and closed and all products under that mark will be immediately discontinued.

Nio is also pleased to announce that its Satis security solution is on target for a 2nd-half, 2010 launch. Named after the Egyptian Goddess of border control and security, Satis is the culmination of nearly 18 months of research and development that draws on the 15+ years of intelligent video technology and several patents held by Nio Security. Satis integrates Nio's most advanced Dynapel products into a single solution that brings new capabilities to the corporate tagline of ‘Watchful Intelligence'.

Using Satis, a complete range of smart video cameras and image enhancement peripherals are integrated with enhanced software and support for a wide range of security applications.
