"The CFATS regulations provide Risk-Based Performance Standards to reduce vulnerability and manage risk around chemical facilities but they do not prescribe methodologies," said Mr. Romanowich. "The SIA CFATS presentation was designed specifically to educate the audience with best practices for implementing efficient protective measures. Mr. Romanowich, who is Chair of SIA's CFATS Work Group, is the President and CEO of SightLogix, a manufacturer of intelligent video surveillance systems. He has held management positions in video technologies with Intel, IBM and the Sarnoff Corporation, and co-founded Pyramid Vision Technologies, a pioneer in intelligent video surveillance acquired by L3 Communications.
