Composec will offer a series of product design solution seminars for security product manufacturers |
The seminars are organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd., a leading integrated media company dedicated to the security industry which organises Secutech trade fairs as well as publishing 12 A&S magazines and operating several websites.
Commenting on the seminars Mr Parson Lee, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd. said: "As the world's innovative technology designs involving CCD / CMOS, IC Design, semiconductors, transmission, ASIC / DSP / FPGA, energy saving and remote control are thriving at this pioneering stage, security product manufacturers will be able to gain the latest technical insights at a series of seminars delivered by component market leaders."
To support the growing popularity of IP network infrastructures and standards such as ONVIF, PSIA, and HDcctv Alliance, CompoSec is providing a series of four themed seminars.
- The HD Surveillance seminar will feature the latest technology for WDR sensors, video analytics at edge, real-time compression and other control IC chips which are widely used in large-scale transportation. It will also cover the topics of storage, display and other interface upgrades and the change to an IP-based system.
- The Improved Transmission & Interfaces seminar will explore how transmission and IC interface providers ensure low distortion, high speed and stable quality products. This will be of particular interest to security players as it includes data transmission quality for both analogue and network based systems.
- The Next-generation Identification & Management seminar will offer information about RFID, smart card and biometric technical breakthroughs which include higher efficiency levels, decreased wastage and increased security level for payment systems, commercial buildings and governments.
- The Green Security seminar will share the best eco-friendly practices and procedures in the aspects of storage, display and power management and how these devices are being incorporated into security solutions. In addition, how eco-friendly security affects system performance and reliability will be discussed.
Exhibitors are booking larger booth space
Exhibitors at CompoSec 2011 are increasing the size of their booths to attract security product manufacturers who are looking to source components for their "killer applications".
Mr Lee added: "What is interesting is that many exhibitors are requesting a larger booth space to better showcase their latest products and innovative technologies. They don't want to miss the chance of their components becoming part of a ‘killer application'."
CompoSec is held concurrently with Secutech 2011 which is part of Messe Frankfurt's global network of security trade fairs. Messe Frankfurt also organises five other leading security trade fairs: Intersec in Dubai, Secutech Thailand, Secutech Vietnam, Seguriexpo Buenos Aires and Intersec Buenos Aires.
