Matrox Extio F2408 KVM extender offers lag-free functionality in mission-critical environments
Operators can control keyboard, mouse, and four displays of their system from up to one kilometre away using F2408
The Matrox Extio F2408 KVM extender will be at the forefront of partner Milestone Systems' exhibit at Security 2011 Exhibition & Conference in Sydney, Australia. The Extio F2408 will drive a 2X2 display wall in promotion of Milestone's open-platform software for managing IP-network-based video surveillance solutions, with video from various makes of cameras appearing on the Milestone Smart Wall via its Smart Client application. Matrox Extio KVM extenders allow operators to control their system's keyboard, mouse, and four displays from up to one kilometre away via fibre-optic connection, providing completely lag-free functionality in mission-critical environments.

For larger-scale remote-surveillance requirements, the Extio F2408 can be combined with the Matrox Extio F2408E Expander to drive up to eight monitors from a single workstation and fibre. Additionally, connecting another F2408 and F2408E Expander combination to the same system will enable an impressive remote 16-monitor multi-display setup, making Extio both a powerful and versatile hardware solution for cutting-edge security and surveillance installations. The Security 2011 expo, promising extensive seminars and networking opportunities, will play host to security professionals, consultants, engineers, procurement managers, and executives from a vast array of industries. Exhibition visitors can catch Matrox hardware in action at Milestone's booth #J-4 the full length of the conference.
