Intelligent video surveillance with high detection accuracy and low nuisance alerts |
The Clear24 product line widens SightLogix' solutions beyond the company's proven outdoor video analytics systems, while maintaining a core focus to make outdoor video more effective. Also at ASIS, SightLogix is highlighting integration opportunities between their open-architecture systems and a range of video management, access control and physical security information management (PSIM) systems.
All components of the SightLogix Outdoor Video System use image processing to deliver reliable, cost-efficient outdoor security. The company's video analytic security camera systems function with a high degree of accuracy amid the infinite variables of the outdoor environment. With the introduction of the Clear24 thermal camera, the system has been expanded to provide superior thermal images, 24 hours a day, in all operating environments.
See www.sightlogix.com/clear24thermal for an example of Clear24's crisp thermal images compared to market-leading thermal cameras.
"SightLogix intelligent video systems have met the need for high detection accuracy with low nuisance alerts while lowering overall project costs," said John Romanowich, President and CEO, SightLogix. "We are now solving the shortcomings of thermal cameras with our new Clear24, which leverages powerful video processing to provide the clearest thermal images, 24 hours a day."
SightLogix systems are being selected and deployed globally for perimeter security applications specifically due to their accuracy and infrastructure cost reduction that enable projects to be integrated quickly and more cost-efficiently. The open-standards SightLogix system works seamlessly with approximately 20 third-party systems, including many fellow exhibitors at ASIS.
At ASIS 2011, SightLogix (booth #3557) will display a live demonstration of the Clear24, along with the SightLogix Automated Outdoor Video System, which lowers overall project costs versus conventional camera systems and provides substantial return on investment (ROI). The system includes these components:
SightSensor Visible and Thermal Detection Cameras, incorporating an imager, lens optics, electronic stabilisation, video analytics software, camera control and GPS target tracking. On-board digital signal processors (DSP) communicate directly with the image sensor to analyze scene details of each video frame for better accuracy and extended range.
Clear24, the outdoor thermal camera that uses powerful image processing to provide the most detailed thermal image possible, 24 hours a day, including conditions of rain, snow, fog, wind, or humidity.
SightTracker, a pan-tilt-zoom controller that translates the GPS-based target information from an associated SightSensor and automatically steers third-party PTZ cameras to zoom and follow detected targets.
SightMonitor, target mapping and configuration software that overlays camera positions, detected alarms and locations and camera fields-of-view onto a geo-positioned aerial map of the surveillance area to provide users complete situational awareness.
Components of the SightLogix system are enclosed within a ruggedised, NEMA 4X housing to withstand extreme weather and climate conditions.
SightLogix also offers the Video Security Trailer (VST), a self-contained rapidly deployable perimeter security solution for temporary or long-term surveillance applications and the Rapid Deployment Kit for first responders.
