SANYO currently manufactures ten different IP cameras including nine Full HD (high definition) cameras. The entire line of megapixel cameras utilises H.264 compression. Model variations include box cameras, vandal resistant domes, optical zoom-only box cameras and PTZ cameras.
"The CCTV market seems to have quickly found the benefits of full HD Video for Security applications. Installers and system integrators are excited about taking on the new technology," said Robert Gailing, National Sales Manager, Security Products Group, SANYO North America Corporation. "The exacqVision VMS software creates an advanced security solution for these installers and integrators by including the SANYO IP CCTV cameras in their systems."
The exacqVision VMS software is a true open, cross platform system used in video surveillance systems. The server software (Windows or Linux) is installed on exacqVision market-leading hybrid servers (incorporating analogue and network cameras), exacqVision IP camera servers and on commercial off-the-shelf servers. Every exacqVision server can be viewed and administrated from the free client software available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh computers. The client software connects to an unlimited number of exacqVision servers (regardless of the operating systems being used) to create a truly scalable surveillance solution utilising both analogue and network cameras.
"SANYO has entered the IP security market with a truly versatile line of megapixel cameras," notes Dave Underwood, President, Exacq Technologies. "It makes for a great match with the exacqVision VMS software and gives our customers even more options to create a best-of-breed network video surveillance solution."
