Samsung’s new SNB-5001 1.3 megapixel network camera is designed to provide an affordable HD video surveillance solution for retail and office type environments.
“Worldwide there are thousands of video surveillance systems being installed each week where the superb quality images which can be captured by HD cameras, could help users take their security to a much higher level,” said Tim Biddulph, IP Product Manager for Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd. “Until now, the relatively high price of HD cameras has prohibited their use for the vast majority of these installations. We have produced the SNB-5001 specifically to overcome this problem in that it incorporates most of the important features associated with HD technology, but at an affordable price level.”
