ATEC Security has appointed two new directors to focus on delivering exacting customer requirements through technical innovation and the effective seamless integration of numerous disparate security systems.
ATEC Security has hired Chris Worrall as Design and Bid Director

Security systems integrator, ATEC Security is in the final straight of a year-long company restructure and appoints two new directors tasked with driving forward a customer focused strategy.

The restructure not only streamlines ATEC’s ability to deliver large scale projects without losing focus on client needs,  it will help to readdress the gulf in the security market between large corporate players caged by process and smaller regional outfits restricted by size.

The company’s focus on the future-proof capabilities of IP and robust integration of complex security technologies is already securing large campus sites and multi-site projects including Birmingham Airport, City of Westminster, The Science Museum, Ericsson, City of London Police, First Capital Connect, and AMEY. Morale is on an upward trajectory with three consecutive yearly wins at the industry’s coveted Security Excellence Awards.

Two New Director Appointments

As two of the key players in driving through the business changes - Steve Warrington and Chris Worrall - have been promoted to Operations Director and Design and Bid Director, respectively. Their focus will be on delivering exacting customer requirements through technical innovation and the effective seamless integration of numerous disparate security systems.

"..This is an exciting time in ATEC’s history, with a rebranding, a new headquarters and a number of prestigious contracts all happening in the next few months"

Worrall is responsible for managing the Consultants and Technical Design Engineers as well as offering customers innovative solutions focused on long term operational benefits with low total cost of ownership. ATEC MD, Simon Adcock says, “His professionalism and commercial acumen coupled with his client focused approach and technical knowledge makes him the natural choice to lead this now well established team.”

He continues, “As Operations Manager Steve Warrington has been at the heart of the business changes, in particular building capable and well resourced project management, project engineering and supervision teams to ensure our implementation always lives up to our promises.”  The project engineering team has doubled in size under Warrington’s direction and conventions have been established for detailed design, ensuring connection level drawings are competed prior to start on site, thereby reducing overall implementation costs.

"Both Steve and Chris have made a huge contribution to our success. Our three successive wins at the Security Excellence Awards are testament to their dedication and professionalism, and it is great to be able to formally recognise their contribution. This is an exciting time in ATEC’s history, with a rebranding, a new headquarters and a number of prestigious contracts all happening in the next few months", concludes Adcock.
