VIVOTEK announced recently the launch of the latest compact design fixed dome camera, FD8151V. With several unique, market-leading features such as vandal-proof housing, IR illuminators up to 5 meters, low light capability, built-in microphone, and easy mounting and installation, the camera is regarded as an ideal choice for a variety of indoor applications.
The FD8151V, equipped with a 1.3-Megapixel CMOS sensor enabling the camera to capture 1280 x 1024 resolution video at 30 fps, supports the industry-standard H.264 compression, significantly reducing file sizes, preserving network bandwidth and storage, and easing system loading without adversely impacting video quality. In addition, the camera is also compatible with MJPEG compression, allowing video streams to be transmitted in either of these formats for versatile applications. The removable IR-cut filter also adds Day and Night functionality so that image quality can be optimised based on lighting conditions.
