New V'nes enhancements on display at ASIS 2008 include:
The new Commander PoE is a full featured IP Communications Hub and Network Switch plus: 802.3af power to all main ports with no power sharing along with high power PoE for high speed domes, heater and blowers; monitoring and alerts for all power conditions, emails, front panel and web browser; along with all the features and functionality of Commander including environmental monitoring, PortflowTM bandwidth optimisation, alarm contacts and auxiliary outputs. Commander PoE also features a universal web browser compatible with all major computer operating systems without the need for external client software. The unit also interfaces with V'nes Pilot Video and Network Management Software.
In addition, the new Commander-A offers all the features of V'nes Commander IP Communications Hub and Network Switch along with advanced analytics for IP cameras. Commander-A can be custom configured to meet any application with direction discrimination for single direction detection under multiple direction sites, object size detection, tracking and movement, and integrated triggers to real world alarm outputs and V'nes Pilot Video and Network Management Software.
The new Net I/O Network Video Recorder Interface provides real word alarm inputs and auxiliary contacts including four RS485/RS232 user configurable ports for transmitting data. It interfaces with V'nes Pilot Video and Network Management Software for generating alarms and auxiliary, and interacting with other IP components.
AFI is also demonstrating new enhancements to its V'nes Pilot Series Video and Network Management Software Features that include: an individual camera viewing time line for easy access and immediate camera playback; megapixel camera integration with PTZ and dual screen viewing; programmable alarm pop up screens; and expanded driver integration for Arecont, Pelco and SANYO IP cameras.
