Optex releases new innovative wireless products and launches an ipod competition
Optex Europe, leading developers and manufacturers in the field of wireless detection technology, has launched a competition that offers security installers the opportunity to win one of five iPod Touches. The prize draw, which runs from April to August with a winner selected each month, is being run by the company to coincide with the release of its new innovative wireless products.

The HX80N is a new series of high mount outdoor detectors, which boasts a superior range of up to 24 metres and an array of features including small animal immunity and anti-masking. These models are additionally available as wireless units, simplifying installation and reducing the site cost associated with laying cables.

The promotion extends to the AX-TFR, a battery-powered active beam detection unit that also benefits from being wireless and delivers the reliable detection performance that installers have come to depend upon in Optex products.

An insert detailing information about both of these products, and the competition itself, will be included in the packaging of all Optex Europe products. It will be easy for installers to enter the competition and be in with a chance of winning an iPod Touch just by sending an email to the address on the leaflet [email protected].

Paul Nicholas, Divisional Manager for Optex, hopes that the competition will be a way of rewarding loyal installers and reaching new customers: "This competition is our way of saying thank you to the many installers who invest their confidence in Optex products again and again," he says, "and to highlight our expertise in wireless based technology."
