In combination with Siqura’s IP cameras and codecs, Siqura DIVA offers solutions for traffic data collection and vehicle tracking
Siqura to demonstrate a total video network system for traffic applications at the Trafic Madrid 2011
Siqura B.V., manufacturer of advanced video surveillance solutions and member of TKH Group, announced its intention to participate in the Trafic Madrid 2011 trade show in Madrid, Spain, from September 27th through the 30th.

A Siqura traffic solution at a glance

Siqura will demonstrate a total video network system for traffic applications at its booth (5B09). Siqura cameras and codecs will be configured to Siqura DIVA, an IP-based video management solution that adds intelligence and comfort to traffic monitoring. Next to the full-featured live-viewing and playback user-interface, Siqura DIVA offers built-in intelligence for a number of applications. In combination with Siqura's IP cameras and codecs, Siqura DIVA offers the perfect solution for a wide range of situations, including traffic data collection and vehicle tracking.

Award-winning direct-to-fibre IP PTZ camera

Due to the reliable and secure nature of fibre optic networks, Siqura is now offering its IP PTZ dome cameras with a plug-and-play fibre optic connector option. This feature simplifies the setup, maintenance, and appearance of camera installations where a fibre network is utilised to overcome long-distance limitations, such as in roadside applications. At the ISC West 2011 trade show in April, these pioneering new cameras won the New Product Showcase award for the best IP camera in video surveillance.

Pressurised PTZ dome camera line for challenging roadside conditions

Through a pressurised dome housing, this new Siqura camera line is ideal for highways and tunnels, where corrosive elements in the atmosphere can impede the performance of a traffic management system and cause unnecessary risks to safety and traffic flow. The Siqura pressurised PTZ dome cameras have an IP67 Ingress Protection rating; pressurising the housing, particularly with inert nitrogen gas, prevents moisture, pollution, and dust from damaging the camera. Ultimately, this ensures lower maintenance costs and fewer delays.

Pushing the limits of technology at the edge of the network

Siqura is currently developing an advanced camera platform that puts entire video analytics systems in stand-alone devices at the edge of the network. Based on the now well-known and award-winning Siqura TrafficServer, this intelligent IP camera is integrated with proven automatic incident detection (AID) technology. Taking analytics to the perimeter of a system not only enhances the overall efficiency of the system but ensures more accurate and effective analysis of critical video material.
