NICE Systems’ Security Division and Dr. Bob Banerjee join hands

Dr. Banerjee will support NICE's security industry outreach efforts

NICE Systems has announced that Dr. Bob Banerjee has joined NICE Systems' Security Division. Banerjee will develop programmes and initiatives to educate, train and support NICE's extensive network of security system integrators and dealers, and provide thought leadership for NICE's security industry outreach efforts.

Banerjee comes to NICE Systems from Bosch Security Systems, where he had served as product marketing manager for IP Video since 2004. A recognised expert in all things video, including IP video, analytics, hybrid solutions and open systems, "Dr. Bob" is a frequent speaker at security industry conferences. He has also published numerous articles in online security industry media and trade magazines on a wide range of security topics.

Banerjee brings more than a decade of high tech and security industry experience to his new position at NICE, having also held senior marketing and global product management positions with several IT and software firms. He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Advanced Research Centre at the University of Bristol, England.

"We are very excited about the expertise and experience that Dr. Bob Banerjee brings to the NICE security team," said Chris Wooten, president, NICE Security Americas. "With players in the video surveillance market and technology evolving so rapidly, it's incumbent on us to educate integrators and end-users in the security eco-system to help them stay one step ahead. We also need to continue to demonstrate thought leadership by highlighting key issues and challenges in security, and pragmatic solutions for dealing with those. Bob will help bring this focus to the NICE security team."
