Switchnet reaches quarter finals of "Stamford Cup"
With a team that had never played together before, Switchnet, a leading MOBOTIX partner, managed to reach the quarter finals of a "Stamford cup" before being knocked out by home team "Chelsea FC". Switchnet, which hit the post twice in the second half, reached the knockout stages following tough group rounds that saw the Harlow based system integrator compete against teams from Peachy Productions and Afro Euro.

The Switchnet 9 man squad, sponsored by MOBOTIX and Mayflex included staff, partners and clients from around the South East. As Mark Wills, Account Manager of Retail Management Solutions, nominated by Switchnet as their "Most Valuable Player" commented, "It was a good day for all and allowed us to get to know each other a bit better in an environment outside of the daily grind."

Switchnet were also celebrating the completion of a major MOBOTIX CCTV installation at Hemel Snow Centre, one of Europe's leading indoor snow centres which uses Mobotix technology to help keep staff and guests as safe as possible both on and off the slopes. The tournament, held in early June at Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge complex, also boasts MOBOTIX systems at its indoor swimming complex to help monitor security.

"It would have been nice to see Switchnet lift the cup, especially with Mobotix blazoned upon their chests," comments Mike Lewis, Business Development Manager for MOBOTIX UK, "But it was a good day and between the goals, there were several fruitful discussions about potential deals and projects."
