The two high-resolution camera systems are fully based on IT standard technologies |
eyewatch's aim is to develop camera systems which allow moving image analysis, intelligence and computational performance from the DVR/NVR to the camera. The user is allowed flexibility to install own and external software modules into the camera platform. The Linux system software allows transferring adapted applications directly to the eyewatch camera platform. This repeals limitations of centrally-based image evaluation. Evaluation and analysis will be performed locally and directly within the camera. First examples will be shown at the fair. In the future well-known video-analysis software providers will develop and offer appropriate solutions for the eyewatch platform.
eyewatch developed FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) which guarantees an optimal picture quality even under difficult environmental conditions. The cameras store in high resolution and without an external recording device, PC or network, loading the data directly to the integrated flash memory.
Both eyewatch cameras are positioned in the megapixel class. The high image quality is achieved by using two 5-megapixel sensors and are ideal for day and night use. The high picture quality is achievable even in difficult lighting conditions due to a fully integrated IR illumination unit, which is controlled synchronously by the camera.
eyewatch cameras support the extended POE standard and can be installed cost-effectively. They are extremely robust and weatherproof due to the absence of moving parts and the classification as IP65. An integrated microphone and a powerful speaker ensure full audio support.
The Video Software "eyewatch Manager"
At the Security Essen show eyewatch will present their video management solution. The Video Software "eyewatch Manager" manages cameras and alarms comfortably, making it the ideal partner for small and medium-sized application solutions without additional costs incurred for external VMS solution.
