EverFocus UK has built on its unique range of HD-CCTV products with the recent launch at IFSEC 2011 of two new hybrid DVRs, allowing for a mix of HD-CCTV and analogue cameras, together with two new 2 megapixel HD-CCTV dome cameras. EverFocus Electronics Corporation, a global top 20 global professional security equipment manufacturer, has built on its UK market-leading position in HD-CCTV by extending its total range of HD-CCTV products to three DVRs and four cameras. EverFocus HD-CCTV offers installers and end-users an easy upgrade path to full High Definition (HD) images for coaxial cable-based installations by simply connecting new HD-CCTV cameras and DVRs to the existing coax. Hybrid DVRs EverFocus has launched two new hybrid DVRs offering a combination of HD and standard analogue channels, designed for installations where HD is only required in higher risk security areas. The new EverFocus Endeavor range includes the EDR HD-2H14 with two HD channels and 14 standard analogue channels, plus the EDR HD4-H4, with four HD and four analogue cameras. All Endeavor DVRs offer H.264 compression, 720p/1080p HD resolution, Pentaplex operation for simultaneous live viewing, recording and archive playback, plus easy set-up with remote web monitoring - even via a mobile smartphone. New HD-CCTV cameras Building on the existing HD-CCTV camera line-up, EverFocus has launched two new HD-CCTV domes at IFSEC 2011. Both domes offer two megapixel resolution with a 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor to deliver 720p/1080i HD resolution. The EverFocus EDH5240 is an internal infra red (IR) dome with the external EHH5200 offering vandal resistance and IP66 rating protection. The EverFocus EZH5240 ‘bullet' style external camera completes the current range, with a two megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor, true day/night functionality offering infra-red illumination from 36 infra-red LEDs providing illumination up to 40 metres. Basil Singh, managing director, EverFocus Electronics UK, commented: "We know HD-CCTV is gaining traction with the response we received from visitors to our stand at IFSEC. Installers and end-users alike want to upgrade to HD, and our HD-CCTV range is the simplest way to achieve this for end-users who have existing coaxial-based installations. EverFocus is committed to delivering a range of HD-CCTV cameras and DVRs that are ‘plug-and-play', and recognising that some installations will require a mix of analogue and HD. We are listening to installers and meeting that need with our hybrid HD-DVRs."
