eneo is upgrading its W3 Series, the ideal solution for outdoor installations, with the high-resolution Plug & Play camera called the VKC-1368. It adds a white-light version to the brand's range of weatherproof cameras. 17 integrated white light LEDs deliver an illumination range of approximately 10 metres. But the VKC-1368 still operates with a high light sensitivity of 0.2 Lux at F1.2 when the white light is switched off. Its top class image quality in all lighting conditions is due partly to its 1/3" Supper HADII Colour CCD image sensor made by Sony along with the integral varifocal lens. It furthermore offers enhanced sharpness compensation and back light compensation. One outstanding feature is the Dynamic Light Intensity Control (DIC), which automatically adapts the intensity of the white light to the lighting conditions. But mention must also be made of the enhanced sharpness compensation and back light compensation (BLC) as well as the flexible dual supply voltage of 12VDC or 24VAC. The W3 weatherproof housing series classified compliant with protection rating IP67 designed especially for these Plug & Play cameras is made from aluminium featuring a clear polycarbonate window. With its compact size of 62x97x188 millimetres, it comes at a weight of only 900 grams, and its swivel-head mounting bracket gives flexibility to installation on walls or ceilings. The "Easy Installation Cable" pre-cabled video/power supply with outside routing (1.5m long, video: BNC jack; 12/24V input; 2-pin screw-plug connector) makes both installation and maintenance easy as the cable can simply be plugged from underneath. GTIC2-SR/13mm/9Hz is a compact thermal imaging camera for indoor applications or for use in combination with the high speed pan/tilt system ARGUS, or in specially designed weather proof housings (on request). It is suitable for video surveillance in total darkness, light fog or smoke.

With low smear (a characteristic of this type of CCD sensor), this camera has 2 times greater sensitivity on visible light and up to 4.5 times greater sensitivity on near IR illumination (800 to 1100 mm) than conventional models. BLC (Back Light Compensation) is achieved by special weighting integration of 225 separate windows. Iris gain is controlled so that a clear image is produced under extreme lighting conditions. Adjustable gamma (0.45 or 1) allows optimum setting for image quality. The cameras accept a range of power supply inputs.

The advanced Auto Tracking White balance (ATW) ensures that colour images remain natural, while the Super AGC boosts the video signal should it become necessary. Also available in the ARX-4H3P model with high resolution at 480 TV lines.
