These uncooled, Vanadium Oxide (VOx), long-wave infrared (LWIR) detectors are available in a variety of resolutions, pixel pitches, and packaging options for both ruggedized and low cost applications.

With its remarkably high resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, the U8000 thermal imaging detector offers outstanding image quality in a ruggedised and lightweight package. This uncooled sensor, using innovative vanadium-oxide technology and 17 micron pixel pitch imaging, weighs less than 18 grams.

Uses Ex-view technology from Sony for low-light performance. Optional IR cut filter.
