- Flexibility of solution ensures future expansion
Thanks to the modular configuration, the innovative Modular Fire Panel 5000 Series was easily adapted to local circumstances at Loftus Versfeld. Its modular configuration allows for easy extension, smooth adaptation to country-specific regulations and conditions, complete set-up with up to 46 modules per control panel, and interconnection of up to 32 panel controllers and remote keypads.
Another advantage is its clear and simple user interface, which ensures ease of use with only basic training, minimising operator errors. The panel is also able to interface to Bosch's other security systems to create a holistic security system, allowing visitors to the stadium the peace of mind to fully enjoy their events.
"Bosch Security Systems Sub-Saharan Africa, through its Fire Installer Partner Programme (FIPP), strives for technical and operational excellence. Through the Bosch Security Academy, installers complete the required certification & training at Bosch Security's head office in Midrand," said Michael Howard, Sales Manager of Bosch Security Systems Sub-Saharan Africa.
According to Stadium Manager Hugo Kemp, in the case of fire detection, it was most important to have a best-of-breed product. "The Bosch Fire panel offers a number of advantages, one being its expandability in that it is able to cater for our immediate requirements while remaining flexible enough to expand as we require, without the need for additional panels to be installed."
"Bosch's future-proof design, the fact that they have enjoyed a local presence for over 100 years in South Africa and that their equipment is covered by an extensive three-year warranty, made the purchasing decision an easy one indeed," adds Kemp.
