Housing the legislative assembly of Uttar Pradesh in the country's most populous state, the government building holds significant historic and political significance for the region and its security is of paramount importance. Video from multiple VideoSphere IP PTZ Dome cameras will be installed strategically throughout the site to enable centralized security personnel to monitor activity in real-time and focus in on or track specific incidents. VideoSphere Edge 4 Encoders with H.264 compression will also be used to bring video from existing CCTV cameras into the IP system. High-quality video evidence from all cameras will be easily accessed and reliably stored on Sun Microsystems servers running VideoSphere VMS software that has been pre-installed and configured as part of March Networks' convenient VMS Application Server Bundle offering.
